Can't believe I've played fantasy football for so long now...
It's a shame the 1999 and 2000 records are lost, I'm pretty sure I won one of 'em...

They kindof need to separate the pickem ranks from the regular leagues.

I really don't pay attention to any of the leagues I'm in. I'm in two Yahoo! fantasy football leagues this year, and I'm also in one fantasy basketball league. I haven't looked at any of these leagues in two months.

I guess I should change his face to sad. Haven't played any Yahoo since 2000 and the results don't look good.

You are the sort of person who ruins fantasy football then.

Well, at least I'm not the only person who had this same thought.

I hate quitters. Basically, there are two reasons why he may be a quitter:
1. He really isn't that interested in fantasy sports. In that case, he should never have joined. When you enter a league, you are making a commitment to be active and at very least adjust your roster weekly to account for injured players / players who aren't performing. By neglecting or totally abandoning your team, you are taking away from the enjoyment of everyone else in the league.
2. You are a loser who quits the league at the first sign that your team isn't the best in the league. You're happy to stick around if you're winning (and you probably brag a lot), but as soon as a little adversity arrives, you cry like a little girl and go home.
Either way, you suck, and you are the bain of fantasy leagues everywhere.

Yeah, I gotta agree with the slimy tentacled one and the crazy nut from the great republic of Georgia. If you don't want to play, don't play. I've started making lists of the Yahoo screen names I won't let in the Yahoo leagues I create just for this reason.
I earned my 43 out of 50 tourney bracket and my 12th place Alma Mater Football league ;)

This should be the disclaimer or something on every fantasy league. Well said Kodos. I hate people like that. I dont care if I am 0 and something, I will still drop/add, talk shit to the person I am playing, etc.

Then I ruin fantasy sports leagues. So be it. I'm certainly not going to try to defend it to anybody here. I know that none of you will ever bother to ask me to join your fantasy leagues, and I'm not going to bother to ask to be in them. It's a no-lose situation, including for the people who run the leagues that I'm an inactive member of. They know my situation, and as long as I'm cool with them, everything is fine. Clearly, my only mistake was to say anything here in the first place.
Edit: In addition, while Kodos' two examples certainly apply to a lot of people (and I've played with both types of people), they are so far off base about me that it's ridiculous if you know me. Since I didn't give any explanation and just stated that I haven't looked at the leagues I'm in, I don't fault anyone for assuming either of those things. I'll just say that they do not apply. Anyway, personally, I'm sorry that I brought it up.

Hey Pumpy. If there is something going on in your personal life that rendered fantasy football a non-priority, then I apologize.
