I saw the Dukes of Hazzard (didn't pay) and I honestly did not laugh once. Seen bits and pieces of 9 Songs, and I must say... it has its moments... lets just say it won't be on during the daytime. I had no idea Elektra came out this year... it's been a long year. Has there ever been a worse movie than Daredevil that actually garnered a spinoff like Elektra did? And did Daredevil and Elektra have a super baby?

Actually, I liked Daredevil.

Dukes Of Hazard I believe will go down as one of the Worst Hollywood Movies of all time.

Neither is a mutant so it's doubtful.

Although I haven't seen Dukes of Hazard, Battlefield Earth IMO is THE worst movie I've ever seen.

I saw it at home. I think I fell asleep as I was getting up to turn it off, so technically it played the whole way through.

Gentlemen your reactions are completely understandable. Both of these movies and many, many more based off of video games were all directed by the biggest hack in movies today: Uwe Boll. He is by far the worst director currently making widely released films. He is shit. His movies are abominations... All of them. I have no idea how this talentless scrub continues to make movies.

Here are a list of his U.S. movies past/present/and future. See them at your own peril. You have been warned...

Fear Effect (2008) (announced (http://pro.imdb.com/r/legacy-inprod-name/inproduction/))
Postal (http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0486640/) (2007) (announced (http://pro.imdb.com/r/legacy-inprod-name/inproduction/))
Far Cry (http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0400426/) (2006) (announced (http://pro.imdb.com/r/legacy-inprod-name/inproduction/))
Hunter: The Reckoning (http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0431132/) (2007) (pre-production (http://pro.imdb.com/r/legacy-inprod-name/inproduction/))
In the Name of the King: A Dungeon Siege Tale (http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0460780/) (2006) (post-production (http://pro.imdb.com/r/legacy-inprod-name/inproduction/))
BloodRayne (2005)
Alone in the Dark (http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0369226/) (2005)
House of the Dead (http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0317676/) (2003)

How can that be bad? I really think the Dungeon Siege movie has a chance to trump all of Dr. Boll's other works. I mean, the hero is named Farmer..and he has a boomerang. Burt Reynolds plays the King. Ray Liotta loses all ability to act, everyone else loses all self-respect.

Keep your eyes on this one people.

Luckily I haven't seen a "full" movie from the horrible list, although I did see a good portion of Alone in the Dark which is every bit as horrible as it's made out to be and then some.

Don't worry, Flasch. Uwe Boll will suck dry and shit out any potential Postal might have. Trust me. He is horrible.

Watch the trailor of BloodRayne. It's online. Even the trailer makes the movie look like complete and utter shite. The trailer! Even the new Stars Wars movies had awesome trailers! Poor Ben Kingsley... Poor, poor Ben Kingsley... HE WAS FREAKING GANDHI!

Honest question:

How does Uwe Boll keep getting work?
Here is one theory, which I hope is true, because if it is it could mean the end of Boll, that talentless skin sack...

Maybe, just maybe, we are free of Uwe Boll

http://www.cinematical.com/images/2005/10/boll.jpgYou know how Uwe Boll (http://www.imdb.com/name/nm0093051/?fr=c2l0ZT1kZnx0dD0xfGZiPXV8cG49MHxrdz0xfHE9dXdlIGJvbGx8ZnQ9MXxteD0yMHxsbT01MDB8Y289MXxodG1sPTF8bm09MQ__;fc=1;ft=21) is incapable of making a good movie, and yet somehow always manages to get funding for his next project? And how we've all been wondering how or earth he can still find suckers willing to give him money? Well, it turns out that Uwe is the sucker - you see, German tax law is such that people who see fit to invest in movies receive "a hefty tax write off on funds invested [in] failed films." So basically, Germans with knowledge of obscure tax law have been lining up to invest in Boll's films - I mean, the chances of them being succesful is basically nil, right? Hell, tax consultants have probably been sending their clients to the guy! There's something very Mel Brooks (http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0063462/?fr=c2l0ZT1kZnx0dD0xfGZiPXV8cG49MHxrdz0xfHE9dGhlIHByb2R1Y2Vyc3xmdD0xfG14PTIwfGxtPTUwMHxjbz0xfGh0bWw9MXxubT0x;fc=1;ft=21;fm=1) about all of this, isn't there?

Sadly, however, Uwe Boll's days as a human tax write-off are over: in January 2006, the Make Money By Investing In Failed Movies loophole will be closed. So, where is the guy going to get his finding now? Are you thinking what I'm thinking? FREEDOM!

The Dungeon Seige movie was so long, they are splitting it into two releases a month apart. When promoting House of the Dead 2, a member of the press asked an actress why HOD2 would be better than the first, she said, "Well, this one is directed by Boll." I know he directed HOD when I went to see it, and it was awful.

Ring 2 was pretty terrible, after the first one (which was fantastic).

All time worst movies have to be Cabin Fever and the new Planet of the Donuts. Cabin Fever=so so so so terrible. Words cannot express.

I would like to add The Upside of Anger as my pick for worst movie of 2005.

This movie goes nowhere and stars the most pathetic character I have ever seen. I didn't get why this woman would always look on the bad side of everything. Husband disappears for 3 days, does she call the police to report him missing? Nope, she cancels his credit cards and closes his bank account.

I kept waiting for a moment in the movie where this woman would change, but instead I got some twisted ending that proved how pathetic this women's life was. The only message I could think the director was trying to send was bad things happen to bad people, or something like that. And, you should try your best to avoid these people if you can.

This was the worst movie I have seen in a very, very long time.

LOL, I was reading through some of the reviews for Alone in the Dark (I had to see what made something score a 1%) on rottentomatoes and came across this priceless quote from a review:

"The three stars have seen better days, but I'd like to think they could still do something classier and more dignified than this. Like gay porn." -- Rob Vaux FLIPSIDE MOVIE EMPORIUM

I'm embarassed to say I've seen several of these. Stealth is not a good movie by any stretch of the imagination, but it's better than several mentioned in this thread.

Oh, and Into the Blue has some great underwater Jessica Alba shots. I ejected my DVD a couple of times to see the menu beginning over and over. Wow. :D
