I tend to game in long sessions (not to mention watch movies) and I want a chair for my dorm room. Lying on my bed or on the floor isn't cutting it anymore.
Does anyone have one of these? Or does anyone know of any better chairs to use? I would also prefer the chair to be light-weight.
Edit: I will also be using it to watch movies

I've thought about it, but I'm starting to have minor back pains and I think that chair might exacerbate it.
However, if I was 10 years younger and had the money to purchase it, I'm sure I would.

I have always hated this style of chair. My legs are always asleep in about 10 minutes.
Looks good, but isn't it too close to the floor?

Why not save $60 and get one of these:

Do you guys really sit that low? i guess it's for console playing, no way you can reach a table to use the mouse on that kind of sits.

Never tried that chair. I wholeheartedly recommend getting a bean bag (either a big round one or a chair-type) chair, they're much better for all of the above I've found. And homework. :D
Oh, and I use my Crazy Creek chair pretty often, but that might just be me.

It is for console gaming but it still looks uncomfortable to me.

Dola,
This is a Crazy Creek chair: http://www.crazycreek.com/interior.cfm?page=detail&item=1
I have tried this kind of sits in the past, where you put your knees over the front part of the chair so your back is more relaxed... it works great to avoid back stress.... but painfull for your knees after some hours. At least the one i tried, that was not as good looking as the one in this pick.

Would you like a monitor with that baby seat?

My son has that beanbag chair from target and I always take it from him when I am playing the xbox. :) It's perfect!
The AK Designs Rocking Gaming Chair felt cheap to me when I tried it.. almost like it would break without much effort.

right now i'm leaning towards getting a beanbag chair.
Will it still be somewhat comfortable if I ever decide to watch the Lord of the Rings or Star Wars trilogy in one sitting?
