So last night I was actually able to get an Xbox 360, and all it took was waiting in line 12 hours outside a Best Buy in weather that never got above 25 degrees. Now I'm looking to upgrade the rest of my home entertainment system starting with the TV.
My current TV is about a 10 year old Memorex 20 inch piece of crap. With that said I know absolutely nothing at all about TV's. What I'm going to be looking for is something that will allow me to play my 360 in 1080i, hopefully last me as long as this TV has(IE HD, and hopefully have features that have the next 10 years in mind), and have absolutely zero chance of screen burn in, or whatever that is I've heard of.
Money is an issue, I won't be able to go above a thousand in any way shape or form, and the $500-600 dollar mark would be the best bet. I don't need it to have a stand or anything like that as I already have a place to put it, and I'd like to keep it around the same size as my old TV(absolutely no more than 30 inches).
Thanks in advance. Also, current sales don't really matter as I won't be able to afford this untill after X-Mas. I'm looking at getting it around April when my birthday comes up.
