I'd like to see IMTG step in here and admit he was wrong, but I doubt he will. If he does, it'll be to say that "it's too early to tell" or "Harris will show he's a bust before too long" or "the media overestimates his contributions because he's an OU guy" or some such nonsense.

*This was actually meant in a fairly good-natured way. I think IMTG knows so much less about football than he thinks he does, but generally I just like to have a good time arguing with him. :D

i just lots my reply because i get logged out if i dont do anything other than type for longer than about ten minutes. it went about like this:

1. harris has been great the last two years, more deserving last year since there were 2 better linemen alone this year, unlike last
2. backhanded shot at the ou program, stoops specifically
3. cuckoo thinks i dont know anything because he makes up stuff i said and argues against that, often doing a poor job at it. the "things he'll say" bit being a more perfect example than any amount of digging could possibly so

But then again, I'm not so interested in searching through and quoting old posts, so I typically just address IMTG's overall tendency to make idiotic comments at any given moment.

1. false. his soph and junior years were a waste, as was his senior year in high school. sooner fans claimed he was hurt for a lot of those years, and seeing how quick he is now makes me believe them

2. i have no idea what your point is here. i agree with you. texas hasn't had a top 10 class in like 4 years, and i've always been right there saying how good they really were. meanwhile, i was also here the whole time saying how overrated ou's classes have been. i dont see how thats a shot at mack at all

3. bob stoops would easily win with texas' talent. if mack can, anyone can. again, whats your point? do you have me confused with someone else? do you not think bobby would not be in the mnc game if he were coach this year?
