I was having a discussion with a coworker yesterday about fantasy football and he mentioned he is the commissioner of his league on Fanball and it only costs $50 as opposed to Sportslines $99-129 (depending on when you sign up).
Apparently Fanball has all of the same tools (live scoring, guru, customized scoring, message board, etc) as sportsline, so I wanted to know if any FOFC'ers out there play on Fanball, or if anyone can tell me the pros and cons of Fanball and Sportsline. I may switch over to Fanball next season so the league et up fees are less and the grand prize can be larger.

Fanball also has more updates and better overall information available for fantasy players. I like them both but if I had to go with one it would be fanball.

I vowed to never do pay for play online fantasy football again. I participated at Sportsline a few years ago and my team lost out on the post season because my team ended up tied for fourth with a team we swept during the regular season. Amazingly they got the nod to go to the playoffs.

Thats crap and is the commissioners fault. Head to head is always the #1 tie breaker.
Thanks Streetballer22 for the info. Is the live scoring good, or is it like Yahoo's live scoring which takes a year and half to update?

If you're going to do that, why not just play Yahoo, get stat tracker, and everyone chip in $40 to play for cash?

I use Yahoo with Stattracker. It's a good cheap option.

If live scoring is your main concern, sportsline is your best bet.
