I posted this in the mod forum at greydog's site also, but I thought I might get more help/readership here, so i cross-posted it here.
I tracked down an old face pack (mostly photos taking from some obscure football leagues) originally compiled by "maximus" and my plan is to alter it to work with BBCF, since the few faces included in the game are rather boring.
I will have the time in the near future, I think, to convert this over but I need some help here:
It would help tremendously if someone could explain to me the file naming convention used in the game. I can tell the prefix refers to the position group (qb, wr, ol, db) but I don't understand the numbering system. It seems to go from 000-0xx and then skips to 500-5xx.
Now, I can go through the facepack and pick out the ones that would be plausible for each position, but what numbering ranges will be acceptable for this? For instance, if I pick out, say, 250 pictures that would be good for wide receivers, can i name them wr000.jpg - wr250.jpg? Why is there an a, b, and c for each picture? They appear to be different moods for the same player, but since this face pack will be just photos, there won't be different pics of the same face available. Will I still need to have an a, b, and c for each one?
Hopefully one of the developers can answer these for sure, but any thoughts are appreciated.
