I am now starting (for real this time. ) a TCY dynasty that will be ran concurrently with FOF4 when FOF4 is all patched up.
I will be starting with Richard Stockton College. The storyline goes (as shown below) is that Richard Stockton College (my college) has decided to build a Div-I football team. Following Temple being kicked out of the Big East, Richard Stockton takes its place, instantly starting a NJ vs. NJ school rivalry with Rutgers.
House Rules (pretty much the same as cthomer has for his Rutgers dynasty):
1) Must keep scholarships at a total of 60. If I go over 60, I cut until I get down to 60.
2) I have to automatically offer a scholarship to anyone coming out of:
Gateway Regional (NJ) High School in Woodbury Heights (my school)
JFK Memorial (NJ) High School in Iselin (g/f school)
3) Can not call more than twice and can not visit more than twice.
4) No Bribing for any reason
5) Since the president of the school is conserned about the image of the achool now that it has a Div-I football team, all recruits must have a GPA of 2.7 (or higher) AND an SAT score of at least 1050.
6) Until we have a winning season, I can only recruit from New Jersey, the eastern part of Pennsylvania (no more than 150 in Dist.) and Deleware.
If and when I have my first winnign seasons, the order of the next two states will be: Maryland followed by the western part of Penn. After that, I will determine the state by picking 3 near by states and using a random number generator to decide.
7) I can try to recruit 1 red player a week and 1 black player every 2 weeks. Just like cthomer, these will be blue-chips and dreams.
8) Game Plan: I must pick a system and stick with it under each coordinator. For instance, if I have been using an IForm with OC Pete Jackson and suddenly find myself with killer WRs and a great QB, I can not just switch to single-back or run-and-shoot. (Note, I don't know if doing that would actually benefit my team. just throwing it out there.
9) Append to that: If I change my offensive formation, I MUST hire an OC with at least 1 season experience using that system. Otherwise, the OC comes in and runs the system I using (if he has no prior experience).
10) If an OC DOES have experience with a system, I can not hire him unless I plan to change to that system. For example, OC Fred Freddy has 5 years exp using singleback. If I am running a wishbone, and have no interest to switch to singleback, I can't hire him.
11) I can not set Run Pct to under 35 in the game plan except for 3rd down and med (or longer), and 2nd and long (or longer).
12) I can not set Run Pct to over 70 unless in 1st and med (or shorter), or short downs.
Exception to 11 and 12: If the computer AI sets it to it, than I can use it.
(These two keep me from taking advantage of weak AI, though I usually will just use what the coach reccomends.)
That's all for now...I may take away or add to it as the game goes along.

Game start options:
I disable the Hire/Fire coach. I will stay at Richard Stockton through thick and thin. No ditchign the school when I get an offer, and no kicking me out. I signed a 75 year contract with them.
I do not randomize anything.
I use the Bowl system.
Include suspensions.
And just for the hell of it, I put the Sol-8 conference in Hawaii.

Big East names the Stockton Ospreys as new team
Pomona, NJ In a ceremony today, the head of the Big East has named the Ospreys as the new team in the Big East.
"We are very excited to have the Ospreys in the Big East." commented Bradly Jones, head of th eBig East. "They have shown a commitment to putting together a fine program here."
Part of the student body, however, was not very excited. The school body is largely made up of pinko-commie enviromentalists and they protested the building of Osprey Stadium.
"They cut down counless of defenseless and innocent trees." said Kelly Moore, head of Stockton's SAFE program. "All those trees...dead." But this tree-hugger will now have to just deal with it.
This isn't the first time the vegans protested the building of sports related construction. A couple of years ago, members of SAFE vandalized equiptment being used to build 4 tennis courts. In order to build the tennis courts, the school had to cut down approximately 30 trees.
However, with tight security, the construction of Osprey Stadium went without incident and the tree-huggers left them alone.
One hypocrit commie stated, "I don't agree with the construction of the stadium, but I hope we kick butt and I'll be at the games." Go eat some some grass tree-hugging vegan.
And now the Ospreys get set to enter the Big East. Let's just hope they have more luck than those losers at Temple.

Potential problem: Since I 'overwrote' Temple with Stockton, in the game it has it in Philadelphia, PA instead of Pomona, NJ.
Dunno how that will REALLY effect anything other than screw a little with the recruiting distance.

But not just any punt. A punt that pins Tulane down at their own 5 yard line.
Tulane comes back strong though going 95 yards in 5 1/2 minutes to score on a 6 yard run. The PAT is missed so the score is 6-0 Tulane.
We come right back. On the 2nd play of the next drive, #33 Ford gets the ball, it's a counter play and Tulane bites! He could go all the way! 67 yards on that run and the PAT is good giving Stockton the 7-6 lead.
We start off the next drive with 2 defensive penelties which give Tulane the ball at our 39 yard line. Our defense tighens up though and keep them out of the end zone. A 20 yard FG and the lead goes back to Tulane, 9-7.
Walker throws an interception on the next drive, but Tulane can't do anything with it and they punt it back to us. First play of the drive is a 33 yard pass which puts us in Tulane territory. 5 plays later, on 2nd and goal, Walker throws another interception in the end zone. Touchback and Tulane gets it at the 20.
Tulane doesn't throw this chance away and with just under 3 minutes left in the half, a 26 yard run increases Tulane's lead to 9 (16-7). We would get the ball back, but can't get down the field.
Half Time Score: Tulane leads 16-7
Tulane gets the ball first. One the 3rd play it's PICKED OFF by Harris! No he didn't, YES HE DID! 47 yards for the Touchdown cuts the lead to 16-14, with Tulane having only a 2 point lead.
They get the ball but can't do anything and punt it to us. We get into Tulane territory. 4th and 4 on the Tulane 29 yard line. Too far for a FG, too close for a punt. Might as well go for it. And we make it! Walker to Covington for 6 yards keeps the drive alive. 2 plays later, Walker connects with Davidson for 9 yards and the TD. Stockton now takes the lead 21-16.
Both teams stop producing for about a quarter's worth of time. It was a complete field position game until we finally get close enough to try a 29 yard FG with 5:59 left in the game. We miss it and Tulane gets the ball back. That seemed to wake Tulane up as they get down into Stockton territory and complete a 38 yard pass for the go ahead TD with only 1:44 left in the game. They go for the 2 pt conversion and succeed. Tulane now has a 24-21 lead.
In the first ever game in the history of Stockton football, we'd be asking our not so good, young QB to be John Elway or Joe Montana.
1:31 left on the clock and we're at our own 18 yard line. We need a FG to tie it. First play of the drive, Walker hits Davidson for 46 YARDS that puts on the Tulane 36 yardline. On 2nd and 10, Walker gets sacked. It's now 3rd and 16 with 45 seconds left. We hit a 15 yard pass...NO! 1 yard short.
Wait a minute. There's a flag on the play. Personal Foul, Unnecessary Roughness on Tulane! Tulane's coach is furious! We get it at the Tulane 14 yardline with 36 seconds left.
We try a run and get 1 yard. Timeout. We run it again and gain 9 yards. Timeout. 1st and goal at the 4 yard line. 16 seconds left and 1 timeout left. A run gives us 2 yards and we take out last timeout. At the 2 yardline, we kick the 19 yard FG and it is good to tie the game!!
End of Regulation: It's tied 24-24
Overtime
We get the ball first. A 19 yard pass puts us on Tulane's 6 yard line! 3 plays later and on the 5 yard line, we kick the 22 yard FG and gives us the lead.
Now all we have to do is stop them.
1st and ten, the pass is batted away at the line. 2nd and ten, the pass is complete but we swarm it and it goes for -1 yards. 3rd and 11, the pass is complete for 5 yards and it's 4th and 6 at the 21 yardline. They set up the 38 yard FG...it's kicked...it's up.....it's....NO GOOD!!!
The kick sails to the left, it's no good, The Stockton Ospreys have won in their first ever football game!!
(Damn I wish this was a home game...oh well.)
Final Score: Stockton wins 27-24 in OT
Recruiting
Required Local Scholarships
No one from Gateway Regional or JFK Memorial is good enough for college ball.
Dream Recruits
S Jackie Bennett - #16 S, #333 National, scouted 84+
Student at Mainland Regional High School in Linwood, New Jersey. Our defense holds and limits Oregon State to just a FG (22) giving Oregon the early lead 3-0.
We get the ball and punt it. Oregon State answers by marching down the field and scoring a TD on us on a 20 yard run. They lead it 10-0.
We get the ball and punt it. No big plays happened, it was just a well, engineered drive that took 6:40, 14 plays and 70 yards. Exactly my kind of football. On the first play of the 2nd quarter, end end the drive with a 2 yard TD run to make it 7-3. Because we didn't score the TD in the 1st quarter, our TD-less drought ended at 11.
Cincinatti didn't like that. Cincinatti's first play is a 13 yard TD pass to make it 24-7 and now it's becoming a landslide.
We try to put together an end of the quarter drive but it stalls and Cincinatti gets the ball back. They put another nail in the coffin with 10 yard TD run to make it 31-7.
We get a great kickoff return for 55 yards to the Concinatti 43 yardline. Comeback?
They start driving but once they get into our territory we intercept the ball and return it 17 yards to the Cincinatti 48 yardline.
Very first play is a 48 yard TD pass from Walker to Bush. Unbeleivable. the score is now 34-27 and we're only a Touchdown away from tieing this thing!
Cincinatti drives down the field to our 26 yard line. THey line up for the 43 yard FG but the kick is no good and the score remains 34-27.
And now here's our chance. We did it against Tulane, can we do it against Cincinatti?
We start on our 26 yardline. A 19 yard run gets us to the 45. Next play, it's an 11 yard pass to the Cincinatti 44 yardline. A FG is no good. We need to get into the endzone. and there's 57 seconds left to go. We run a draw, 1 yard. 2nd and 9 from the 13. An incomplete pass makes it 3rd and 9 with 39 seconds left. Even with an Illegal Block on the punt return, we get the ball at the 50. And we do nothing with it.
Then they immediatly get down the field. A 45 yard run up the gut gets them to our 18 yardline. Then they pass for 18 yards for the TD. They lead 7-0.
We punt on our next drive then get it back on an interception. Then we still do nothing and punt it away. We then exchange punts until we punt it away and get an Illegal use of hands on the punt return. That put them on our 14 yard line.
But our D holds strong and they get an Offensive Pass Interference call that pushes them to the 26 yard line. The 43 yard FG attempt falls short and the score stays at 7-0.
We get th eball and on the 2nd play, Walker hits Davidson for 53 yards that put us on the Connecticut 24 yard line. 3 plays later on a 9 yard pass to Davidson gets us in the endzone. THe gaem is tied 7-7.
We then exchange punts until we find ourselves with 3rd and 10 on our 45 yardline. Walker to Davidson for 16 yards. Then a pass from Walker to Bjorlin for 23 yards on the next play and we're at the Huskie 16 yardline. We get to the 13 but a false start pushes us back to the 18. We attempt the 35 yard FG and it goes wide right.
With only a minute left, Connecticut can't get anything goes.
Half Time Score: Tie 7-7
We get th eball first and go 3 and out. On the next drive, the Huskies methodically marches the field down to the 17. It stalls therer and they settle for the 34 yard FG. Huskie leads it 10-7.
Our next drive starts off with a 23 yard run by Ford. 2 plays later, Walker to Stephens for 17. The next play is a 13 yard pass from Walker to Stephens. Next play, Walker to Covington for 28 yards. We find ourselves at the 11 yardline.
Then we almost blew it. Ford fumbles the ball but we get it back. We get it to the 4 yardline, but we can't do anymore. A 21 yard FG ties the game again at 10.
Connecticut gets the ball and throws an interception to Epps. He returns it 26 yards to the Huskie 12 yardline. An offensive holding call pushes us back but we then get up to the 13 again. A 30 yard field goal gives us the lead 13-10.
Connecitcut's first play is a deep pass that gets picked off. We got the ball at our 39. We can't do anything with it.
With 3:33 minutes left in the game, Connecticut hits a 37 yard FG to tie the game. It would stay that way until the end of the regulation.
End of Regulation: 13-13
-Overtime-
They get the ball first. The get to the 1 but on 3rd and 1 they get an Offensive holding call. (I only assume they got in the endzone because we accept the penelty). That pushes them to the 11 for 3rd and 11...then, an 11 yard pass gives them the score. It's 20-13.
We HAVE to score a TD.
On 3rd and 10 at the 25, Walker feels the pressure and has to run. 18 yard gain! 2 plays later, Walker hits Covington in the endzone for the touchdown! It's tied at 20 again.
We get the ball first in OT #2. Second play, it's intercepted! Damn it.
Connecticut gets it. They get to the 16. A 33 yard FG...is kicked...is NO GOOD! Wide right.
OT #3
Connecticut gets the ball. They get to the 18 and this time, they don't miss.
A FG gives them the 23-20 lead.
We get it. Jennings for 9 yards. Then a 1 yard run gets us 1st and ten at the 15. Jennings runs an off-tackle...TOUCHDOWN!!! A 15 yard run for the TD in OT #3 wins the game!!
Final Score: Stockton wins 26-23 in OT #3

They get the ball and get to midfield before they throw an interception to Dawson who returns the ball 73 yards for the touchdown and the crowd goes nuts.
On West Virginia's first play of the next drive, Merloni picks it off this time on a long pass and we get it at our 35.
On the first play Jennings runs an off tackle for 26 yards into WV territory. We then drive all the way to the field to the 1 and we punch it in with a run to Jennings to take the 14-0 lead.
They get the ball and are pushed back to their 5 yard line. They punt 25 yards and we return it back 5 to the WV 25 yardline. 2 plays later, Walker to Bush for 13 yards and the touchdown.
We take a 21-0 lead and the route is on! Finally, to be on the other end of a route.
There next drive, they get close enough to try a 39 yard FG but it misses. They get the ball back when we have to punt. Again, they get down the field but this time it is intercepted in the endzone! 3rd pick so far today by our defense and 2nd on the day for Merloni.
We get it and have to punt. They get it back and again, Merloni picks it off! 4th pick of the day and 3rd so far for Merloni!
Our drive lasts 7 minutes and we kick a 33 yard FG to make it 24-0 with a minute left in the half.
Half Time score: Stockton leads 24-0
On the second play of the half...you guessed it, an interception by Merloni. We drive the field and kick a 27 yard FG to make 27-0.
West Virginia finally gets something going as they get down the field and score on a 9 yard TD run. WV had a couple of big pass plays. 27-7.
West Virginia's offense has finally got in gear. We're forced to punt and their offense drives the field again. A 23 yard FG makes it 27-10 and it seems like WV is trying to mount a comeback.
But both defenses stiffen up and neither offense gets anything done as they exchange punts for awhile. (WV had a missed 51 yard FG in there.)
With 8 minutes left in the game, WV punts it to our 25 and Bush takes it to the house. 75 yard punt return gives us the 34-10 lead.
With 2 minutes left in the game, we try to run the clock out, but West Virginia's defense doesn't seem to actually be playing. We get another TD and make the score 41-10.
Final Score: Stockton wins 41-10
Merloni had 4 interceptions for the day, but 0 yards. But he did set the NCAA record for most INTs in a game.

It started with a 45 yard FG to make it 10-7, but then was followed by 2 touchdowns that made it 24-7 and crushed our hopes for just 1 more win.
Half Time Score: Boston College leads 24-7
Right off the bat, Boston College TD pass (42 yards) to make it 31-7. We then responded with a quick touchdown. We failed the 2 pt conversion and it was 31-13.
With about 9 minutes left, we kick a 41 yard FG to make it 31-16. We're within 2 scores.
However, our offense stalls dispite good field position given to them by my defense. Eventually Boston College gets into the endzone again to make it 38-16, effectivly ending the game with 2:25 left.
Final Score: Boston College wins 38-16
I expected to lose 55-0. Good that we were able to hang in there at times.

A little Controversy
Kansas State pulled off a big upset against Oklahoma in the Big 12 Championship game. They both then ended the season with a record of 12-1. The BCS kept Oklahoma above Kansas State, however, because of Kansas State's lose to Oklahoma State earlier in the season. Oklahoma State ended the season unranked at 6-6.
However, some still say that Oklahoma, because of their lose to Kansas State, should not be in the Championship game. Some are saying that either Miami of Florida or Tennessee should have been given the Championship Game slot.
Regardless, it will be Oregon and Oklahoma in the Championship game.
