Whoo! Who's psyched about this movie? I've never even heard of it, and I can't quite put my finger on why I'm so stoked about this movie, but damned if I can't stop thinking about it.

Every time I see that commercial, for a split second I catch myself wondering why Mel Gibson would ever do such a dumb movie. Then I realize that one guy just looks an awful lot like him as he flashes across the screen.

This look horrible this movie. Just horrible. I don't have the faintest clue what it's about and quickly hit the "mute" button or changed the channel whenever the ad came on, which was far, far, far too often over the last week or so.

The fact there are *no reviews at all* for the movie tells alot, not that anyone expected a classic but it's obviously going to be a stinker.

I remember reading somewhere that in a lot of cases, January/February movies are often bad movies that the companies have no faith in, so they release them in the dead time after the holiday release cycle. I think that was in reference to that Affleck movie Reindeer Games which, despite its Christmas-y title, didn't come out until early the next year. It was slated for the holiday season, but it sucked so bad they pulled it and moved the release to the "off-season."

This movie is probably one of those kinds, the kind that they hope becomes more of a cult hit and they make 80% of their money on DVD sales in the years to come.

Saw it Wednesday night. Total stoner movie. If you don't like movies like Harold and Kumar, Van Wilder, or Club Dredd, don't bother. There were a few laugh out loud moments. But again, the only people who will like it are the ones that love stoner movies.

I'll take your word for it. I rarely watch movies. All I know is it sucked and bombed, so I just assumed Affleck was involved.
