I love the King. He is creepy, but cool. His food is inedible, though.

This is so true. Why does 'Frame Broiled' taste like 'Kerosene Doused'? And Burger King's defintion of an onion is some translucent, paper-thin abomnation, whose only purpose is to get lodged between each and everyone of your teeth as soon as fucking possible.
There is one thing I really do like about Burger King though; it's not Wendy's.

You guys must be on crack. BK and Wendy's have two of the best tasting burgers of any fast food chain.
Culver's!
Then Wendy's and BK.

Culver's!
Then Wendy's and BK.Having just had a jumbo burger at Culvers for lunch today, I certainly agree. Despite their ever-expanding reach, I didn't list them as I was only thinking of national chains.

We had a 24 hour BK right off campus... After four years of 2am whoppers I'm not sure I could ever eat BK again.

Hey, I worked there and I still like the stuff. Better than McD's. Wendy's is pretty good too though.

People are talking about fast-foods even though there's a beautiful, half-naked woman in the thread? I'm married, and this just makes me sad. Come on single men, there's more to life than a Quarter Pounder......

Word. And (kinda) like cuervo, I worked at BOTH of those places and still enjoy the food...

The King scares me. Creeps me out to no end. I refuse to eat at BK until the end this campaign of terror.

You know what makes me sad? McDonald's 2-for deals. It used to be 2-for-$2. Man, did I love a pair of Big Macs for $2 back in the day.
But something changed, it slowly started creeping up. Now the latest craze was 2-for-$2.22. I could live with coughing up an extra quarter, and it even fit their promotion, so point to McDonald's.
I almost fell out of my LazyBoy the other night when I saw the latest MickeyD's marketing campaign - 2 Quarter Pounders for, get this, $2.62. Where did that spike come from? And the QP is not even as good as the Big Mac. My faith in McDonald's has been severely shaken since.

You can get two double cheesburgers for $2.

Wendy's is really bad with their so-called "extra-value" meals.
My wife got a Bacon Cheeseburger, medium fries, and a medium drink for $5.65.
Off their 99 cent menu, I got a Jr. Bacon Cheeseburger ($.99), Jr. BBQ Cheeseburger ($.99), medium fries ($.99), and a (not on their Super Value Menu) medium drink ($1.19) for a total of $4.16.
My kids got Chicken Nugget kids meals for $2.99 (4 nuggets, small fry, child drink). Off their 99 cent menu, they could've gotten 5 nuggets ($.99), medium fries ($.99), and a small drink ($.99). The only drawback was no toy.

I already am. The people behind me in line were annoyed I took the time to order my food individually.
Have we gotten that lazy that we need everything packaged for us, even our food at a fast-food restaurant?

The combo was a Big Bacon Cheeseburger, not a junior bacon. It's a MUCH bigger sandwich. And of course you're going to pay extra for the toy and pretty bag the kids meal comes in...

I don't do extra value meals either, because:
a) I need more food!
b) I'd rather drink water than paying >$1 for a soda
My only attempt at eating two extra value meals from Wendy's didn't turn out so well. Well, that is unless you consider eating the second meal on the pot a success.

In comparison, I got slightly more meat and a lot more bun for my money by ordering individually. I probably got about 1 strip of bacon less, but in the long run I got more food for less money.
With the kids, they hardly ever play with their toys (I'm talking maybe one time out of hundreds). I could just save the bags and let them read them over and over again. :)
Or I could stand by the garbage and wait for someone to throw away their kids meal bag. :D
