View Full Version : Why the invisiban?

OK, so the cat seems to be out of the proverbial bag (or perhaps its Schrodinger's cat). So I guess I'll pose the controversial question, why is the invisiban currently being used? It seems somewhat cruel, to let a person feel like they are contributing when they really aren't. So why was the invisiban used in this particular instance? I haven't seen anything lately that would merit it, anyone got any ideas why?

Also, this thread was started so we don't mess with the TCBY thread.

don't know why. but i think the first instance we saw of it was last night when jb tried to post in the TCB release thread that i created saying that he had created one, but the post never showed up as there, even though he showed up as the last poster in that thread.
what gives SD?

Thats weak if it is infact true
Sounds cruel to me, but hey, what do i know, i got boxed for a week for swearing, when other do it all the time. I dont think jb has posted or done anything that warrants any kind of penalty

Shock is the first stage. It is accompanied by disbelief and numbness.
Denial follows quickly, crying "I don't believe it," or "It can't be."
Bargaining is your promise that "I'll be so very good that maybe I can wake up and find that it isn't so. I'll do all the right things if only...."
Guilt is painful and hard to deal with. This is when one says over and over, "If only I had..." or "If only I had not..."
Anger is another big factor which seems to be necessary in order to face the reality of life and then to get beyond it. We must all heal in our own ways. Anger is a natural stage through which we must pass.
Depression is a stage of grief that comes and goes. Knowing this, be prepared to give yourself time to heal. Resignation is a late stage. It comes when finally you accept the truth.
Acceptance and hope! Understand that you will never be the same but your life can go on to find meaning and purpose.

Maybe we could get a clarification? I mean are we sure there is ANYTHING going on?
Could it be unintentional? <--I know, I'm so naive it's cute isn't it?

I don't know, how can you know if God exists (someone had to make that joke)
Seriously though, go over the member list, click on their name and tell it to look for posts by that person. When none show up, that means they are currently invisibanned.

Am I invisibanned? AM I? I'm going to paranoid and constantly checking my status. If I got on Fear Factor, I would drink a rat smoothie, but if they told me I had to be invisibanned for 5 minutes, I would quit.

I have no clue what this thread is about or what's going on but now is a good time to mention that people shouldn't make fun of other people. That would be mean.
