I may be in the minority, but I thought the new look that came with the new board was better than this Solecismic Yellow of old.

Then use it. That's why you have choices.

I must say that the "old look" looks alot better then the newer one.

Nice suggestion, cocktose. For the record, when I first checked the options on day 1 of the new board, there was only 1 option in there (vb default). I figured they had changed vb default to this.
A simple, "there are more view options now" would have sufficed.

Do you mean "cocktease", or "cockatoo"?
Seriously, what does "cocktose" mean? It sounds like an insult, but since I thought I knew every insult in every language, I'm kind of confused.

It is one of those words that means whatever you want. In this case, it means whatever Shorty wants it to mean.
I didn't appreciate his curt response to the new look. All he had to point out was that there are new choices.
After further inspection, I see that he implemented the changes to the board, so maybe he took offense. Still no reason to not be polite.

Or you could've looked to see whether or not that option was there, y'know, like a few other people managed to.

Just to close this up once and for all, I understand that I could have looked to see if new options were available. I did check it out the very first time i logged in and I only saw the default view. When it changed, I should have looked again, but I didn't.
I very humbly ask forgiveness from all those whom are offended by these sorts of posts, but all that was needed was a reply of:
"I added to the original single view that was available."
I thought Shorty's reply was painfully terse. I'm not a sensitive puss-bag, but I figured I had enough of a reputation here (tiny, though it may be) to deserve at least the benefit of the doubt and a little respect.
The reason I figured the default was over-written, was the fact that I changed nothing and the interface was yellow. Why the profiles were over-written to use the Yellow interface when I didn't change it is beyond me.
I hold no anger or animous towards either of the negative-nancy's here, but I had to respond.
In the future, I will PM SkyDog for info before i post. Though, I thought that was one of the purposes of this board.
thanks.

That is one problem with spoken vs. written language. I couldn't read the inflection of your comment, and thus, took it wrong.
After reading my own replies in this thread, I feel like a girl, and for that I'm sorry. I should have simply said thanks and dropped it. I don't have many Marty McFly moments, and when I do, I always regret them.

Believe it or not, there actually are some females who visit this board. Be careful!

I was thinking of the fact that I came across worse than my 2.75 year old daughter. I should have clarified that statement. My deepest apologies to all the ladies out there.

Thanks for posting BoneGavel, otherwise I wouldn't have bothered to look either.
