Well i can say for long term careers as i have played FBCB for a long time and it's one of my favorite games, but right now, i'm way more excited by TCB, i enjoy the recruiting way more and right now, i think TCB is a better game. There is a big factor, TCB is a new game, keeps being patched and improved while FBCB isn't, so there is not a big contest.

BTW mate, do you play any text sim or just ask about them? it sems that you enjoy more doing the second. I recomend you to buy the games, play them and enjoy them, and don't worry as much about which one is better, if feature A is better than feature B or what will happend if you click 14 times in the sim button.

i love sports sim games.

i own FOF, TPB 2005, and OOTP 6.5.

it looks like TCB and BBCF will be next.

for TCB i waiting for the patch that will add play by play ,log that Gary said he would do.

for BBCF, i waiting for improvement on the play by play log. too many bugs on it so far is being reported still.

It is way too early to answer that question. FBCB is my second favorite sports sim of all time. However, I'm excited about playing TCB and seeing how it holds up long term.

It's all subjective so I agree with Icy, you opinion will be the same as some and different than others. I had fun with FBCB, but I really like TCB so far. I simmed every game in FBCB and in TCB I'm watching every game.

I can't help but keep thinking about TDCB anytime I hear TCB, so that's kept me from having any interest in looking at it. This has nothing to do with that game though does it?

Just someone tell me it has no similiarities so I can try it out. :p

Check it out for yourself, but I find very few if any similarities to TDCB.

Like TroyF, I'm really digging the 2D Display and watching all of my games (except when I get REALLY pissed off at my team.)

Getting ready to check out the demo now. The 2D engine sounds great as well, especially if I feel like I have as much or even more control as I did in FBCB.

Now I've went and got myself all anxious to try this out.

FBCB has had a long, long life for me. I still play it fairly often and enjoy its multiplayer league.

I liked TDCB and but then I found FBCB. TCB's 2D engine is so immersive to watch. Not sure I'll want to watch a TPB game now. :(

Like TroyF, not sure yet if it tops FBCB, but I also imagine it will. It has definitly drawn me away from BBCF this week.

After I finally got through the preseason in the demo for TCB (some hints or emails would do wonders there), I'm playing my first game. The 2D engine looks great.

I think TCB will be a good game, but I haven't played the demo enough past the first game to determine that.

What everyone said. Too early too judge TCB, but it looks very very promising, and in the long term could top or be better than FBCB.

FBCB is, anyway, still a great game. Jb, you don't have it??? You're letting me down here, man... ;)

Ok, got a chance to play through the demo a bit today.

I'm going to buy it.

One thing I really enjoyed was my ability to ensure I got thrown out of the last game I played, where my boys(Howard) we're getting annihilated, and the refs were calling everything against us. I love that yell at ref button. :)

I like it, the in-game portion most of all. The recruiting I'm not real into yet, but it's ok. I really wish there was a button like FBCB to show only those who you've offered scholarships to. If there is I'm missing it. Would love a quicker way to add to call/watch list as well, but not sure what would work there.

Very impressed so far though, I'm going to restart now however though and start a real career with New Hampshire, the place I had the most fun coaching with FBCB.

each game brings its own uniqueness... the fact that TCB is new and is being tweaked vs. FBCB being left alone leads me to like TCB right now too
