But instead, it will be a pre-Main Event HORSE tournament to determine the best overall poker player.

What's HORSE you ask? It's a game or tournament format in which five forms of poker are played in rotation, usually either half an hour of each or one round of each. The games are limit hold 'em, Omaha/8, razz, seven-card stud (high), and seven-card stud high-low (the e standing for 8-or-better)

Never mind the Main Event, seeing 50K on the line, and the best players in the world will make it more fun to watch :D

I wish Party or Stars would add HORSE tournamenst to their lineup. I'd like to play in one sometime.

what is razz?

Seven Card Stud Low, make your best five card hand (or is it your WORST five card hand? :D)

Aces are low, and straights and flushes have no effect on the low value of a hand. The best possible hand is 5-4-3-2-A.

100=5 Million dollars in prize money.

I think online entries will guarentee more than 100. I would bet Poker and Stars will enter at least that many each through satelites, and supersatelites, and probably even supersupersupersatelites.

Interesting. It won't determine the best poker player any more than the ME did, but I'm glad this multi-game high buy-in event has been added.

It would be tough to broadcast, though, because you'd have to explain four games at once and keep track of who's playing what when. I'm not sure Lon & Norm are up to that task.
