I am from the Detroit area, the Super Bowl will be held there in little over a week, and Lady H_B and in the process of moving back to Detroit this very weekend.

So, it only makes sense that this 130th edition of "I'm With Stupid" be dedicated to the glorious, yet much maligned city of Detroit, Michigan.

The questions:

1. Name a Detroit sports figure, past or present.

2. Name a Detroit automaker (company name), past or present.

3. Name a non-sports celebrity from Detroit, past or present.

4. Which of the following movies featuring Detroit is your favorite: Robocop, Beverly Hills Cop, 8 Mile, True Romance, or Grosse Pointe Blank?

5. Let's settle this once and for all: University of Michigan or Michigan State?

6. Who is going to be the MVP of Super Bowl XL?


The Rules (copied from IWS #129, which was copied from IWS #128):
The rules are the same as previous FOFC “I’m With Stupid" Contests, as set forth by the game’s founding fathers.

The object of this contest is to answer the questions posted, and to provide the most common answer among those submitted. For each question, your score will be equal to the number of people who submitted that response. Your score for the contest will be the product of your individual question scores. Highest score wins.

No collaborating in any way. No posting your answers to this board, nor sharing them by e-mail or in any other way with other potential contestants.

All determinations of "matches" and anything else requiring judgment fall to that of the sole administrator of this round of the game, me. You can reduce the need for doubt and judgment by properly spelling your submissions, being clear, and that sort of thing. My decisions are final and inarguable.

Any references that are unclear to you, due to language or geography, should be understood to be authored from the perspective of an English-speaking American college graduate. However...

Your answers do not necessarily have to be correct in order to score points. If I ask "What college football team will win the 2007 national championship?" and you and four other people answer "Notre Dame", you each get five points even though the correct answer is Ohio State.
