It would be funny to see whoever bought the hot dog eat after receiving it in the mail.

that is one expensive hotdog. I wonder how much more it could have been, if it was the superbowl hotdog

They could always donate it to the Kevin Heath "I'm F'ing Broke" Fund.

I really really can't believe someone will actually pay up on that auction .... if they do then I'm definitely in the wrong business

It's too late, anyway. I've already nearly completed programming for Title Game Hot Dog Manager. You may as well just tell your family to start working on those panhandling signs....:
"Will Work For Super Bowl Hot Dog"
The local college had an attendance promotion Thursday night -- 25 cent hot dog night. A very good deal. They're usually $2, which is still cheap by typical stadium standards. But there was a catch. 25 cents for the hotdog. If you wanted chili, that was 50 cents extra. Cheese, another 50 cents.

If you go look at the who made the bids, you can see that two people have artifically inflated the bid. Also, 69 seems to be the favorite number used. :D

"JUST SO EVERYONE KNOWS, YOU MUST BE AN APPROVED BIDDER NOW TO PLACE A BID ON THIS HOT DOG! I HAVE TO COVER MYSELF, TO INSURE I DON'T GET RIPPED OFF BY PEOPLE WITH NO INTENTIONS OF PAYING!"
That statement made me both belly laugh and feel incredible sadness for what human kindn has become. But mainly the laughing.
