I thought I would ask the question, though I doubt I will take the offer.

I found somebody who allegedly has Super Bowl tickets. He states he is out of the country, but don't worry, we can use a 3rd party company and it will be safe.

First, it came with no pics. Second, I doubt its 100% safe. As much as I want to go, I don't want to get punked. If I were to go ahead with this, and I just asking to get ripped off?

Unless your made of money, I think losing a couple grand for nothing would make this risk not worth it.

Yeah, if I were made of money, I would just go through StubHub and be done with it. :)

I think you're begging to get ripped.

Seriously though, why are you going to the Superbowl? Are you a big Steelers / Hawks fan or something? Is it just me, or doesn't it seem like ,the Superbowl has become less and less of an event over the past few years?

Edit:

Probably has a lot to do with the talent disparity between the NFC and AFC.

A third part service has nothing to do with you protecting your money. They do not hold it or anything like that.

Wasn't there a huge talent disparity between the NFC and AFC about 10 years ago, too?

I think chances are you are going to get ripped. This sounds like the beginning of every scam I've read about.

Yeah remember those days? The NFC won like 12 super bowls in a row or something. Feels like the exact opposite now.

Last several superbowls...

NFC:Rams & Bucs
AFC: New England (in three close games)

Not sure where the huge disperity is. My guess is the Seahawks will have another win for the NFC this year.

EDIT: Forgot about Baltimore. I think they were more recent than the Rams, but I think the unbalance is pretty non-existant.

2nd question. . . Yes, I'm a Steelers fan. :)

So this guy sent me a link to Square Trade. Appearently, Square Trade holds my payment until I inspect the tickets. Then if they are OK, Square Trade releases payment upon my word.

Has anybody had dealing with Squared Trade?
