I'm sorry for the spam here, but we need 3 new owners for the league and as our core of GM's are FOFCers, this is the best place to recruit more serious sims fans.
Bettwen our members we have some FOFC regulars like: Vince, General Mike, SackAttack, gstelmack, MrBug, SirFozzie, me and some others.
The league has a solid core of owners who like to talk a little smack and have a good time. We have also some great article writters that add a lot to the league.
We started in 2005 with real rosters and we have just finished the 2007 World Series and will push the start new season button in a couple of days, so it's the best time to take over one of the open teams. The sims during the regular season are run 3 times per week, on Tuesdays, Thursdays and Sundays. We have also an awesome online draft tool that speeds things a lot during the offseason (Adapted from RPI's FOF one).
Ratings are on a 1-10 (current/potentials) and 1-5 (others) scales. We also applied Skydog's modifiers.
We have the following openings:
New York Mets (http://www.iekwk.com/DKBLHTML/team18.html): Just lost in the World series, awesome team, probably the best in the DKBL, the only problem is the high payroll.
Washington Nationals: (http://www.iekwk.com/DKBLHTML/team17.html) Ended last in the NL East, they have a good amount of cash to rebuild.
Chicago White Sox: (http://www.iekwk.com/DKBLHTML/team6.html)
Ended last in the AL Central, they have a good amount of cash to rebuild.
