To start my dad is stationed in Afganstain so I want to e-mail my dad a .mpeg file that is 33MB and will probally send another that is 50MB of my daughter from her 1st birthday and x-mas. The files are too big to send via e-mail so I want to upload them to a site that he can access on the internet to download them and view them.
Does anyone know of a site that allows you to do this that is free or inexpensive?
Thanks for any and all help.

Google mail is probably your best bet.

I've never used it, but there's a firefox extension that works with gmail to do that, if you are looking for something quick & dirty & free.

Yeah, but that extension DD linked to appears to work around that.

I was kinda curious and I googled "free file storage" and came up with this:
http://www.google.com/search?sourceid=navclient&ie=UTF-8&rls=CNDB,CNDB:2003-46,CNDB:en&q=free+file+storage
first link is this:
http://www.freewebspace.net/guide/diskstorage.shtml
Some interesting options in there, this one in particular:
http://www.savefile.com/
Good luck with anything you try!

and www.box.net (http://www.box.net) seems to be 1Gb of space for 2.99 per month which I'd think falls under the "inexpensive"...
