Supposedly it is (or will be?) bc with the 360. Check out the tread over at Operation Sports as there were several folks there who were going to get it for the 360.

I'm actually thinking of holding off on buying it this year, as the only major update seems to be online play (which is cool, don't get me wrong but I don't really play online much).

Still I'm curious to hear reactions, and as usual I'll proably end up caving.

A quick check over at OS shows it is NOT bc with the 360. Many folks over there are expecting an update to make it BC to be released in March, but it appears just to be speculation at this point. If you're planning on playing on your 360 I would hold off.

Between Winning Eleven, PES, ISS, whatever the hell there is, I have no clue what's going on with the thing at any given time.

I haven't bought one since 6 though, so I think I'm due an upgrade. Absolutely loved 6, great stuff.

Just checked the last two, and winning eleven 8 was released february 1st, 2005...this version is released february 7th 2006....so one year and a week

That is because the Japanese WE is released in the summer, European WE (Pro Evolution Soccer) is released in the fall, and the North American WE is released in February.

I remember having to trick out my PS2 4 years ago to play the imported Winning Eleven prior to it being released in the US. I used the english mods and roster mods that you could burn to a CD and everything. I sure am glad I learned the " knife trick" back then so I wouldn't have to play FIFA anymore to get my soccer fix.

So, I have to admit...I went a little spend happy after work...I bought the game....along with a PS2, NCAA Football 06 and NCAA Baseball 06...I know the graphics and sound arent as crisp, but with these games not available on the 360, my new PS2 will be getting most of my attention (with the exception of NBA 2k6, which is totally awesome)
