I loved the demo. It moved me from a wait and see to a definite purchase.

I really enjoyed the demo as well. I would be buying it, but there are just so many good games coming out that week. However, I'm sure I'll pick this up in the next few months when I hit a gaming lull.

I'm definitely getting GalCiv 2 and Star Wars: Empire at War. I might get College Hoops 2k6 for the X360 if it comes out (and doesn't get pushed back further) and the reviews are good. Apparently, Heroes of Might and Magic 5 was pushed back to late March (or maybe Gamespot just had the Feb release date wrong) or I would have an even tougher choice.

Yeah, I was replying about the week of Feb 15 to the 22nd which is the release week when Fight Night 3 is coming out.

No, I got you. I was just trying to explain for other people. To be honest with you, even if the College Hoops sucks, I'm going to buy it as I'm jonesing for a NCAA Basketball game badly.

I don't see how College Hoops can be bad. The XBox version is terrific. The same was true for NBA 2K6, but the 360 version of NBA is miles ahead. I would hope that the pattern holds up for College Hoops as well.

I'm really looking forward to this as well, although I don't have the 360.

It's a must-buy for me, as I enjoyed the first 2 versions a lot.

I've heard several sites say it is being pushed back to March which is why this is no longer a must buy. Something tells me that there is going to be more problems due to the frequent delays. Then again, they might be doing a very job of polishing it. Either way, I'm going to wait for a few reviews.

The new IGN preview says it will be on shelves March 13th, a couple days before the tourney starts.

I'm wondering the same thing. I really hope they improved/added something, but I didn't read anything specific yet.

Gamespot's preview also states it will be released March 13th. I strongly doubt I will buy it for 60 dollars at that time. However, I'm sure I'll pick up next year's version when it is released to the Xbox 360.

The previews state that roster attributes have been tweaked based on players' performances this year. Also, they have "tweaked" shooting percentages to make them more realistic on default levels. Also, the preview states they slowed down the tempo of the game to give more realistic scores. Other than that, I haven't read about any other improvements besides graphical improvements (3D crowds, better arenas, and better player models.)


Edit: On OS, the developers said they tweaked the dynasty mode's generation of players (players were getting to be too tall on the Xbox and PS2 version after 3 or 4 years.))
