Is there enough of a diference to warrant an upgrade? The problem I hae is, once yo get into a career, and really get into it, it's time to think about upgrading again...andof course CM does not allow you to import universes (much like the upcoming OOTP version will) Although I seriously doubt the new OOTP will be anywhere close to as good as FM

I am in much the same situation as you are. I have a long-term career going that I started when I first got CM05. I haven't wanted to give it up, so I am probably going to sit this year's version out.

Yes, many small improvements add up to a much better game.

but this seems to be the case every year.not that SI should stop trying to improve it's product ;)

I think that's the case with any game that's been around for a few versions. There's a demo available...

Loads of new stuff between FM05 and FM06 ...
PS> Also available on PSP and Xbox360 in the near future - not that I'm plugging it or anything ;)
Will the XBOX 360 version be more like the PSP version or the PC version? I'd assume the PC version, but wouldn't mind some confirmation on that.

The PSP version is more akin to our third series of management games than FM PC (ie. its faster to play but doesn't have a 2D match engine).
The 360 version is a straight port of the PC title and shares the codebase in the same way as the Mac build, only difference is some restriction on number of active leagues at once (ie. you can't have all 50 like on some uber PC's) and the rearranged screens and controls because of the TV and controller differences.
Hope this helps,
Marc

Not to thread jack...ok that's a lie, but I just thought of how this is actually a nice thing about no new FOF's lately. If here was a new FOF every 12 months it might drive me nuts. As it is, I have no question of if I will get the next one or not.
