RULES

Much like the FOFC Drafts of the past, this one will be about those hardened (or not so hardened) famous criminals that make us laugh, cry and mock them. It'll be one for the whole family to really get involved with.

You'll be drafting a total of 10 people on your team. AT LEAST ONE MUST BE A WOMEN. The areas you'll be picking are:

2 famous murderers
2 athletes
2 movie stars
2 wildcards
2 others
1 movie character

If more then ten people sign up before Wednesday (tomorrow) the 15th, I'll randomly pick names out of hat. The draft will subsquently begin tomorrow, so be prepared.

If interested just PM me or dola the thread.

Capice?

I haven't done of these, so, why not. I'm in.

edit: what are the differences between the "wildcard" and "others" categories?

edit: what are the differences between the "wildcard" and "others" categories?

Wildcard can be any criminal ever.

Other has to be someone not an athlete, murderer or actor.

Question: Are these criminals in the court of law or the court of public opinion? I don't want to name specific names for examples, but do they have to be people officially found guilty of a crime, or can it also be based on reputation?

If they've gone to trial, we'll count it. It makes it easier for athletes and actors. Doesn't always mean its true but who cares

btw...which "that" did you intend to change? 11 people to a team, or will a category have one less person?

Unfortunately, I won't be able to participate, but I'll be watching and I had a couple of questions. I'll go with "obvious" people so it's not like I'll be revealing someone's sleeper pick

1) So, using the "gone to trial" option- would OJ count even though he was acquitted (as he's one of the most famous)?
2) How about someone like Hitler? Was he brought before a war tribunal for war crimes? Or Stalin- I don't think he ever did but he killed a heck of a lot of Soviets. Are "war criminals" and dictators not included or are they (ie wild card)?

Good questions. I'll say #1 is up to the voters. If you want to draft OJ, you may. Many people feel he was guilty regardless, so its a risk pick.

War crimes will equal wildcards, so long as they went to trial, so Saddam would count. Hitler killed himself so no.

I got Anthony a kitten for his 3rd birthday...he named her Rolie Polie Olie (long o's) - after a cartoon on the Disney channel. That got shortened to Olie, which then morphed into Oliegirl :)

what's the difference between a wildcard and an other?

Wildcard: can be anything you heart desires.
Other: must be from a group I didn't designate.

Ah, ok.

And I definitely know about Rolie Polie Olie (and just about every other current kid's show), since I have a 4 year old daughter. :)

Yeah - he is 8 now and I miss that show! Along with Bear in the Big Blue House and PB & J Otter...we used to snuggle on the couch on weekend mornings and watch those together...*snif snif*...they grow up so fast!!!!
