For those who haven't noticed yet, it's back. :)

I installed the hack, and everything seems to be working fine. There is a fairly obvious link that you can click if you want to submit a quote for the database. After quotes are submitted, a Ryan or Skydog has to moderate them, so if you don't see it show up in the list or in the rotation right away, it's probably because it hasn't been "approved" yet.

Also, since I installed it at the FOBL boards, the rotation doesn't seem very random if there are only a few quotes in the db....so if it seems like the same quote is showing up every time, the only thing you can really do is wait until the database is more heavily populated...then the rotation should vary a little more.

In adding the QotM, I rearranged the welcome/login area, simply because that table seemed to be very high, especially on lower resolutions, and I wanted to slim it down a little. Fwiw, I don't particularly care for the way it looks now, either, so if anybody has any suggestions for how to arrange all that information, please feel free.

Are you referring to the style set? If so, I know (and should have mentioned that). :) For the moment, QotM is only seen if you're using the FOFC Classic or Sideline styles (since they share the same template set). As time allows, I, shorty, or one of the mods will add it to the others.

One installation is enough for me tonight, however. :)

yeah, the style set...

i haven't gone into my settings and checked which one i'm using, but the actual forums are the light yellow/dark red style most people are probably used to(yes i remember the old school green).

the index(my bookmark) however is bland white for me.

It shouldn't be. Especially if you're seeing the forums themselves as Red/Yellow. Try clearing your cache, then go into your options and set your style selection as "FOFC Classic." For good measure, I'd delete your bookmark and save it again once everything starts showing up normally.

No, you have to manually check however often you want. (Once/twice daily, etc.)

OK. All, it would probably be wise to use a PING or PM to Ryan and/or me when you enter a new QOTM so we can get it up ASAP.
