Can anyone recommend an internet source for purchasing fan gear? In particular, I'm looking for shirts or replica jerseys for League Two or Conference National teams.

And yes, it's because of FM. I blame Marc in particular. :D

A buddy of mine from England bought me a Peterborough United jersey thanks to my long-running thread about The Posh dating several months back... and I believe he got it from the team's site itself. So maybe going to the team's main web site you are interested in and checking out their store would be an option?

I think with those low level teams, you're going to have to purchase from an English site (best bet is the team's own website if they're big enough). Unfortunately you're going to get killed on conversions, and shipping costs.

If you want a premier league jersey, I would recommend worldsoccershop.com.

Edit - are you looking for a particular club?

Great selection and always a good set of special offers.

Yeah I think the team sites are your best bet. I've been wanting an Aberdeen FC jersey for a while and the only place I can find it is on their official website.

You can locate pretty much anything using ebay in my experience (and cheaper than most shops) ... yeah I'm an ebay addict what can I say ;)

Thanks for the input so far.

I'm wondering if there are any fan shirts out there, other than just the replica kit. I know it's a whole different world over there (heh), but here in the colonies we've got an endless selection of t-shirt styles for every team. Do fans not wear that kind of thing to the matches?

The team's I'm specifically interested in at the moment are Gravesend/Northfleet, Northampton Town, and Falkirk.

There are a huge amount of fans shirts for most teams in varying styles from team training kits and suchlike to trendy t-shirts (including ones designed specifically for the woman in your life etc.) ....

There are also pens, mugs, minature stadiums, footballs, watches, pj's, bed covers, curtains etc. as well if you really get into things :D

(I've some bath towels, replica kits from most years back at least a decade or so (essential to any supporter really - shame I can only fit into around half of them these days ;) ), scarfs (ditto - essential supporter attire, especially with the English weather), a signed shirt, a signed football and various sundry t-shirts (including a treasured Goodbye Goldstone one from years back which my wife would love to destroy) - my kids have long since broken my mugs :(

(and compared to some of us at SI I'm fairly 'mellow' in my support .... ;) )

PS> Kev at SI supports Falkirk - their shop is at:

They appear to have some decent baby apparel and air-fresheners amongst other things present there ;)

You can get a miniature version of the Goldstone :ack: Must need a magnifying glass for that one :D

Northampton Town online shop:

Gravesend/Northfleet - they don't appear to have an online shop but to enquire about supporter attire etc. you can contact them easily enough - details can be found at:

Oi watch it - the Goldstone was a wonderful ground, yeah it was partially derelict in its later years ... but it was home and I still have very fond (although rose tinted) memories of it ....

:D

PS> Look like we'll have to wait a while longer to get our new stadium now as well :(

Yeah, that sucks. From what I've read it seems ludicrous, the council objecting isn't even the council that owns the land is it? And the effect of the protest is to send it back to Prescott, who passed the project anyway... Despite the gag, I think the whole of football supports the likes of Brighton, Rotherham , Wrexham, etc right now.
