Was looking at some information for the other NFL player thread and thought this was interesting and worthy of its own thread:
Which player has earned the most Pro Bowls (11) among former #1 NFL draft choices? And which player was second (with 10)?
No cheating, by the way. :D

I disqualify myself since I think I have the same Web page up as you do, but off the top of my head when I read the question I figured the No. 2 guy would've been No. 1.

There you go.
What's scary is Irving Fryar actually has 5 Pro Bowls to his credit. Yeech.

5, really! wow. I thought of him, and I laughed to myself saying that he probably didn't make more than 1.

Okay, here's another question:
Only once in NFL draft history has the same college produced the #1 draft pick in back-to-back years. Name the school and the players.
Again, no cheating!

I remember hearing once that OJ Simpson was the second straight Trojan to go #1 overall.

I'd guess Miami or USC... or maybe Auburn... but I have no idea who...

As much as we would have loved to have Emtman, he was actually a UW Husky. :D

bah. I thought USC or Miami would have been too easy of an answer, I tried to go off the charts.

The answer is USC, with Ron Yary and O.J. Simpson in the late 1960s.
