I don't know what planet you're from, but Victoria Principal had a much better body, better knockers, and was prettier.

I'm not sure who could ever top Linda Gray as a Sue Ellen. I can't really think of any actress.

Is this make believe or is there actually going to be a Dallas Movie?

Travolta as JR??? WTF? Are they trying to miscast everyone? I guess Adam Sandler will be cast as Bobby.

Talk is that Lindsay Lohan has been asked to play Lucy.

Robert Duval.I could get behind that, but he's doesn't have the tall/thin/wiry/leather thing going on like Palance.

Do we need a "Dallas" movie? Seriously... I wouldn't watch it if it were an ensemble cast of former Oscar winners.

Now, if it were an ensemble cast of characters from Transformers, Voltron, GI Joe, and Spider-man and his Amazing friends, then we might be on to something.

Luke Wilson, which is better than when I first saw who was being cast which was his brother Owen.

Looks like your other choices for J.R. are Kevin Kostner or Mel Gibson.

What does this mean? "A live-action version".

Does that mean not animated, no CGIs?

Will they have an actor dressed up with foam padding playing an alien robot pretending to be a Mac truck?

Sounds like a CGI dissaster to me.

What makes something "live-action" and something else Animated. If all the good guys are CGI and all the bad guys are CGI and they are using a Blue screen for digital backgrounds is this Live or Computer-Animated?

Try not to think too hard about it. Chances are, they're just about to crap all over our collective childhoods with this one, and I'd rather not know too much about it before it hits.

If it's big budget... with good CGI... maybe... but I dare not hope. I had hope once for one of my childhood idols to reach the big screen... the result was a Captain America movie that I'd just rather not talk about.

How about Live action Puppets?

Maybe the same people that brought us Team America World Police could pull it off.

Actually, seeing your post as the start of the thread makes it kind of hilarious for me. But, then again, I don't get out much.

GI Joe is the one I really hope for. I thought I had heard about a live-action GI Joe, but I can't find it on IMDB.

Every now and then, my friends and I have a "who should be casted" discussion about various shows/etc from our child hood... it used to be x-men and GI Joe that dominated.... btw, they got Dr. X right ;)...

I have never been able to figure out why Comic Book Legend Sgt. Rock never made it to the Big Screen.
