From the fine organizers of SxSw. I guess at least 1 mp3 from every band that's playing. Link to the page that has the torrents for the 942 free songs. If only there was an easy way for me to name them all... musicbrainz can't find like 80% of them.

And if you don't know what to do with a torrent, just download utorrent, click the link, and say to open with utorrent. wait for download. the end.

Man, I'd love to pick and choose rather than download all of these. Do you know whether Roger Joseph Manning Jr. is among these, and if so, which one his song is in?

Dola.

Or, do you know where a list of the 942 songs is?

Click on this and you can access an alphabetical list of bands. Those with the golden cassette tape have a song you can download. I recommend the Modern Skirts, fwiw :)

Oh, I get it. I thought these were from these bands' actual performances at sxsw, but they're not.

nah, not live performances, just choice cuts i guess. i'm just doing it to expand the collection and make people think i'm in to cool, on the edge bands. thats why i have a clap your hands say yeah! cd... i have no idea what's going on with the music, but i look intelligent.

LOL! Don't forget to add some Wolfmother. Not sure if they were at SXSW, but they seem to be a pretty hip name to drop these days.

Get Azureus as your client and you can. :)

Really? Had no clue. I just use utorrent. Plus, 99.9% of my torrent downloads are bootlegs anyway, so it's not like I need to select certain tracks.

i didn't know azureus did that either. tempting to switch back, but its such a resource hog. utorrent is so nice and clean.

I've checked this out each of the last two years. Usually some good stuff there.

I think "Wonderful Night" from Fatboy Slim was on there a couple years ago. You might even still be able to find the 2004 and 2005 shows, complete with downloads.
