I just started a superstar dynasty in 2006 and the interface is pretty friendly but I don't understand how the practice works. I run the same play over and over, get points and it seems never ending. Can someone please explain?

You can (I believe) slowly raise (or lower) skills points as you practice more. It also helps you get used to the plays and can use them in games. I am not really sure what the long-term benefits are (then again, I haven't gone through a full season or more on superstar mode)

Practice will affect the players ratings for 1 game depending on how well you do in the practices in the preceding week. I think you need to do a minimum of 10 plays for it to count.

Training camp will affect the players ratings permanetely.
