Mobile Gmail Question

I got a new cell phone yesterday (Motorola E815) and am ready to use Mobile Gmail. The only problem is that my username and password and both all lowercase. This is never a problem for Gmail.com but some Net research tells me that many phones have an issue when it comes to entering a case-sensitive all lowercase password. Has anyone using Mobile Gmail experienced this issue? I could change my password but I'd rather not do that if I can avoid it.

I don't know about that, but I loaded Mobile Gmail about a month ago and have never been able to access it. It gives me an error that the server timed out every time I try. I finally forwarded my gmail to a yahoo address I created and check my mail that way.
