View Full Version : I have a new favorite browser

Firefox has been ticking me off lately. From stupid things like not allowing me to enter text into text boxes randomly, to ignoring link clicks, and not showing tooltips or showing tooltips after I switch away from the window to another application. I have just been frustrated with it lately. I've had Opera installed for when I get too frustrated with Firefox, but even that doesn't quite do it for me.

I was doing a little research on the alternatives again today (I've done this before and never been satisfied). I came across K-Meleon and so far I love it. I've tried just about every other browser out there, but this was apparently the one I hadn't tried yet. Was wondering if anyone else out there tried and likes this browser? It seems faster and lighter, while still having the core features I'd like (probably still too many features, as I would like it to be lighter still, but this is an improvement).

Firefox is all I need.

K-Meleon, eh? I may have to check that out. Firefox is decent, but it does have its annoying quirks (still a million times better than IE)

Firefox is terrible and overrated. Maybe it's just a conditioning, habitual thing, but I hate it.

(In my opinion)

What do you use?

What do you use?

An overblown IE with too much crap jammed into that I don't need.

And it's ugly. And it's trendy, which always annoys me.

Dola.

And I hate the tabs, unlike most.

I don't think you answered my question.

I love my Firefox, though it does irritate me on occasion.

Are you being philisophical, silly, or am I just dumb? :)

I see a Mountain Dew can, Kill Bill 2 on TV, and a bottle of anti-psychotics. ;)

I think Neuqua's confused because he thinks you described Firefox in an earlier post when you may have been just describing your version of IE.
