Boom went the dynamite that touched off the eventual implosion of .400 Software Studios, and it's eventual incorporation into Grey Dog (and That's gone for the better if you ask me).

I'm rereading all the threads that came out in Mid April 2004.. still a fun read two years later (although probably give an upset stomach to any of the principals involved).

Although it wasn't thought of as such, I'm rereading em all.. Good times..

(ok, I'm stuck for 45 minutes more at work and there's nothing @$&@) else I can do.)

Ah, memories.

And sometimes, in your nightmares, you wake up and you think it's still going on..

Oh wait, no, that's the Baby Rahn fussing in the middle of the night ;)

"Boom went the dynamite."

Classic opening move; even has the trademark nonchalance.

I live to serve. :D

Seriously, I just reread the Druez post that touched it all off.. and there was a silence amongst the board at that moment.. "Damn.. he didn't just go there, did he?" and then all unholy hell broke loose. Probably SkyDog's most un-fun day as moderator of FOFC :)

Ditto. At least I don't remember paying much attention to what was going on with the boards. I was busy dealing with things behind the scenes.

Good times.

That was the most memorable FOFC moment until Maximum Football came on the scene. I never thought anything would top the .400 studios debacle, but I was so wrong.

Post 49 was the holy shit moment that went from a slap fight to basically, the nuclear bomb being dropped, Druez claiming that someone had paid him/suggested to him to slag a competing game in a review

I loved 'Friday'.

"Damn! You got knocked the fuck out!"

Fits after about every other post in that first link. :D

Hmm, I think I ignored all that stuff at the time too.
