Yeah, but that was before they cut the schedule from 850 games down to 162 and added teams to the league that weren't based within 50 miles of Olathe, KS.

It was probably 2003, when the Royals went on that hot streak. The media (at least here and ESPN&friends) wouldn't shut up about how good they were. They just went way overboard with it, so I was making fun of that.
