Pics to follow one of these days. Right now I have no phone service and no cable.

The house is about 30 years old, 3 bedrooms, ranch style with a finished garage.

This is my first home-owning experience. The process was an utter nightmare.

Sorry to hear it was a nightmare, but congrats on becoming a homeowner.

Grats on the house.
And if it's any consolation, the second time around for me was infinitely easier & simpler than the first.

Since it looks like GE is close to getting the job in Little Rock, we are starting to look at buying homes. It sucks beacuse we can't get an apartment because Little Rock has a no german shepard rule for apartments. How long does it take to usually get a home?

In Little Rock? As long as it takes the delivery truck to drop it off at the trailer park...

:D

Dola,

Congrats, st. How far are you away from Santa Fe? I didn't think there were any houses in the area that were less than $300K.

Am I only the one who finds it odd that the price had to be included in the title?

Anyways, congrats St. Cronin.

congrats man, you beat us by a few days. Telle and I should be closing on our home by wednesday. If the underwriters get off their lazy arses anyway.

No you're not the only one. But 3 bedrooms for $114,000? I'd like to live there

Oh yeah. I should rephrase that to say I'd like that price on a house near where I live.

Amazing that 5 or 6 of us are all closing on houses in a week's span.

Woot. Congrats. My movers are coming today after about 8 days without our stuff. But ATL is much much much much warmer than BOS.

Add me to the list, I signed all the paperwork last Friday and moved in on Saturday!

Exhausting process, but well worth it!

No we found a really nice 2 family home in Cheektowaga, tucked in right along the massive cemetery area just off Genessee.

Northern New Mexico is one of the prettiest places in the US, IMO.

I find it odd too. And the third person reference to himself is kind of strange.

Thanks everybody. The title was supposed to be a play on the thread about Tiger Woods recent home purchase.
