I was watching Total Access this morning (which was from last night) and it had a piece about the notable WRs from the 1996 draft:

Round 1:
1(1): Keyshawn Johnson, Jets
1(7): Terry Glenn, Patriots
1(18): Eddie Kennison, Rams
1(19): Marvin Harrison, Colts
1(24): Eric Moulds, Bills

Round 2:
2(43): Muhsin Muhammad, Panthers
2(52): Bobby Engram, Bears

Round 3:
3(89): Terrell Owens, 49ers

Round 5:
5(135): Joe Horn, Chiefs

Looking at the talent there, I'd say it was a pretty good draft for receivers.

Wow, TO was a 3rd round pick. I always figured he was a high pick.

He did go to a small school (Tenn-Chattanooga).

Out of curiosity, were there any first-round busts that year?

WR Jermaine Lewis was a pretty good KR for awhile IIRC. He went in the 5th.

The Steelers drafted Burress and Troy Edwards back to back...thank god they knew when to say when on WR.
