or it makes him such an interesting character that they make a terrible remake of the movie and no one watches it and the movie becomes less relevant to pop culture than it was originally and I get bored quickly and stop typing.

The remake is replayed ALOT on the Sci-Fi channel and it was actually the first version I saw.

I hate the chick in the first one......I know everyone thinks she is gods spawn or something like that. I always thought she was overly dramatic and kinda lame. The chick in the second one is kinda the same......old news. The good thing about the second one is that it is much longer, has several book scenes that the first one doesnt and the kid is good.

He doesnt drool like a fool(im a poet and I dont know it) and has a few scenes that the first kid woulda slept through. On the whole I think it would have been a very successful movie if the first one had not existed.

However it is 5 hours long and has numerous scenes that exist only to extend the time on the movie.

The first one is better but the second movie is at least worth watchign on Sci-Fi where you can see it in one day as opposed to 15 on ABC or some stuff.

No one is as good as Jack though.....The chick in the 1st one played Olive Oil in Popeye..LOL

Ya there is a HUGE difference in the character "Jack". The music score in the first one is also alot better. It is a thriller as opposed to a Sci-Fi movie the 2nd one is.

The second movie also changes the nudity scene from the first one. You dont see that at all.

Uh..........not that I like seeing that.....I mean......naked..........stuff................where the hell is Horns?

The original Nightmare on Elm Street scared the stuff outta me. I can remember staying up nights cause of that one..........

course I was in like 4th grade and all.....

scary either way!
