It's about time the Vikings got rid of the simple, classy uniform they have worn essentially unchanged for nearly 50 years!

All they really needed to do to the old design was to add black stripes around everything. Then the league would look at them with fear in their hearts!

I like the white ones quite a bit, Somewhat more ambivalent about the purple ones. But my wife and I were at the unveiling tonight and bought new Birk and Winfield jerseys. My wife got her Birk jersey signed too.

To be fair, the biggest reason we bought the new jerseys was because the ones we currently have are old enough they need to be thrown out. A Moss jersey with the number pretty much worn off and a Matthew Hatchette jersey, if you even remember who that was.

If the Vikings draft Cutler, I'm definitely getting his jersey in white.

Yeah, I didn't get a look at the sparkly purple pants until today in the newspaper. I don't like the pants by themselves, and they clash with the rest of the uniform.

I'd like to try my hand at a redesign. Why doesn't anyone design a game where you can design your own uniforms? Does anyone know of a football game that lets you do this? I bet there are literally thousands of people that would pay $40 or more for a football uniform simulation. I don't really care if the simulation stinks, I just want to design lots of uniforms.

you can design uniforms in madden
