Canadian dollars?

(yeah, I know... the exchange rate isn't that bad anymore...)

Seems kinda steep for a townhouse. Then again, someplace like that in a nice metropolitan area of California can run you a million bucks... but, that's California... not "freeze your ass off" Ontario...

Oh... congrats, by the way. Home ownership beats renting, no matter how you slice it.

I don't know what the market is like there, but where I live a place like that would sell for a cool $1 million.

So, consider yourself lucky!

:)

BTW, looks like a nice neighborhood from the Google satellite photo and it's great that you seem to be well insulated from the major roads nearby. But what is that big structure with the green field to the NE? A school?

That's quite a bit to spend on a web page. I could think of better things to spend that type of cash on, like a house or something... :D

Damn. What the hell does this do to your commute?

By the way, my first thought at the title: Damn, he's ordering more shoes than usual this year.

so, 4605 Donegal Drive Unit 20 is where the Grey Cup party will be this Fall then, cool! :)

Congrats btw, looks like a very nice place. I like the fireplace, cause you know, in "freeze your ass off" Ontario, you need a fireplace ;)

I agree completely. My 2BR condo costs more than that and it is 200 SQ Feet less. A TH of that size near me would go from 800K-1M.

FYI, Toronto isn't really the frozen north. You'd have to go a bit further up north, where they have really good beers you know ;)

Thanks guys and gals and Red wings fans:D

To answer a few questions.

Mississauga is a pretty expensive area of Ontario because of the close proximity of Toronto while it still retains a suburban feel.

We are surrounded by a grade school, middleschool and high school all with-in a 10 minute walk...so once we have a child it will be sweet.(BTW the work on a child will start soon..WOOHOO!!:D)

It's a 20 minute commute to my place of business, which is the same as i have now give or take a few minutes.

Mirrored closets......fireplace.......swanky porn music....heart shaped bed...Will all help in the baby making process:)

Although...i have a feeling that once she gets preggers the mirrors will have to come down. She prolly won't wanna see her reflection once shes 7 months pregnant :D

huh, you don't want them to help too much you know. Speaking from experience, you don't want it to stick on the first month of trying. :D
