OK, so who was the buffoon at XM Radio who thought giving Bob Dylan his own show - one that he not only programs (which is fine), but one on which he, you know, talks - was good idea? Sure, the guy's got a face only radio could love, but he's also got a voice only drunk elves could love (or even understand). Has anyone heard the promo on XM? When he says "themes, dreams and schemes" (the only part of the promo I could understand), I almost lose control of my car with laughter.
I'm sure there will be plenty of people interested in the content of this program, and that's fine. Not my cup o' tea, but whatever. It's the idea that this guy would be a decent radio talk show host that makes me wonder if XM really has competent people running the show there. Although they did bring back Liquid Metal, so I guess I'll call it even. For now.
Now that I look at the email I got for this, I think the show just started.
