Werewolf XXVII: Solecismic Asylum (GAME OVER - MANIACS WIN)

Just getting a signup sheet started.

Start date is pending on what happens with Schmidty's game.

This will be a standard villagers vs. wolves game with a few twists that I am excited to see how they play out.



The day has passed and night has fallen over the asylum. Patient #219, John Douglas is sitting on his bed in his cell. He is surrounded by four concrete walls and a single window to look out of. There is a single dim light hanging from the ceiling about 12 feet above his head. The sound of dripping water night after night has slowly driven him crazy. The “hospital” staff doesn’t seem to care though as they tell him they hear nothing.

In the middle of the night, someone bangs on the metal door to his room and he quickly awakens. This is not a normal occurrence as many of you come to find out. He starts to have a horrible flashback once he hears the Doctor’s voice outside his room. John starts to remember being tied in a straight jacket. He can remember being thrown into the back of a black automobile. He starts to remember the scent of the burnt rubber as the car sped off away from his house and family.

Suddenly the door opens and Dr. Widger is no where to be seen. He slowly walks towards the opening of his cell. As John works his way towards the entrance he tries to listen for the faintest of sounds.

Drip, drip, drip.

The next morning you wake up and are given your meds. You past right by the empty cell that once belonged to Patient #219. You have been told that he has been transferred.<o></o>

In the deepest recesses of your minds you know this is not true, but the medication does not allow you to think straight. Some of you have been told that you have wild imaginations and that is why you are here. Some of you claim to see things that are not there and that is why you are here. Some of you feel things that are not really happening and that is why you are here.

Even if I wasn't retired from WW, the movers are moving us on the 15th and 16th. I doubt I would have the time that first week as there will be plenty of unpacking to do. However, we do already have internet all set up in the new home.

It has been 3 days since patient #219 disappeared and it is once again night fall. This time one of the patients, kingfc22, sees a person in a white jump suit enter the unopened cell of patient #125. He hears screams of terror and quickly races over to see what is happening. He peers in and he can not believe what he sees. It is Dr. Widger and another patient performing “tests” on patient #125. There is a large amount of blood on the ground and it does not look like patient #125 is alive. Kingfc22 knows that he can not say anything or he will likely meet the same fate.



As he is returning to his cell he accidentally trips and falls. Dr. Widger heard the grunt that was made when kingfc22 hit the ground and he quickly ordered his helper to “silence” kingfc22.

I've played in a few games this size elsewhere and there's usually been two with an auxillary bad guy. I think three full evils would make it pretty tough unless we had some really good specials on our side.

Yeah, pretty much. Basically a role where the player wins if the bad guys win, but they don't know each others identities. Could also be like a reverse seer role that tries to hunt down the good seer......

I was under the impression we were all playing mental people with special circumstances that we were not allowed to come right out and say what they were. I'm very puzzled by Blade's comments ... they seem desperate. I just want to point out that in game's past he typically draws a lot of suspicion as a good guy. Well, I was 'under the radar' in the last game and not a wolf, and so far in this game have been more active (middle of the pack I'd guess) and am not a wolf again. So....

I really don't understand why Barkeep is being gone after just because he has said he doesn't have anything to hide, or any special role. I know it's day two and we don't have much, but that's totally spurious grounds for an acusation methinks.

Initial roles, i recieved info, which i wont share for rule reasons or for later confirmation reasons, about my place in the asylum, my personal details, and a power granted upon me. Things about it and the way it was presented to me make me reach certain conclusions for now i dare not share.

That tells me no one is just a vanilla villager(which barkeep claims to be..not just a villager, he said vanilla, no role, the shebang...that statement in the lynch leads to be believe thats an utter and total lie(for better or worse).

The key in that to me is that some people heared footsteps, or think they did...telling me the wolves were out and about last night...the fact no bodyguard has come forward means one of three things:they hit a cursed, they can only kill every other night(meaning more killers to start), or the bodyguard didnt protect himself but made the save.

So working with those details, i assume we all have a unique role, none of this vanilla crap, the things were out last night, and we prob. got either very lucky or unlucky last night(bodyguard protect or cursed)

Initial roles, i recieved info, which i wont share for rule reasons or for later confirmation reasons, about my place in the asylum, my personal details, and a power granted upon me. Things about it and the way it was presented to me make me reach certain conclusions for now i dare not share.

I don't think the intial King necessarily means we all have a role, after all we all have 'oddities', we are in an asylum after all....

On mckerny's stuff found in his room, there have been games before where people have been betowed unique characteristics/possesions without any power (off the top of my head the samurai game and I *think* the star wars game too) that were mentioned when they were lynched. I'm not too sure what the list may symbolise if he did have a role, seer perhaps?

On the footsteps, good catch actually. I did read it but didn't necessarily connect with what significance it might have. I now think it is pretty likely they made a conversion last night.

My lady friend just left for the night. So now I'm back. We just saw MI3, which, although she liked, I must say really blew. It was too derivitive. Do I need to go into detail of my date in order to prove that I did it?

It was the time I came back tonight and got caught up. Sorry if it looked suspicious. Hopefully, we'll nail Barkeep and then you'll agree with my feeling.
