So cleaning out my room this evening, I found an old notebook that had the draft results (well, some of the draft results) of the first Fantasy League I was ever in -- a Fantasy Basketball league back in 1998. With the #5 overall pick (10 team, serpentine draft), I drafted the following team:

Not sure why I posted this, but I figured there would be at least a person or two here that would appreciate this. It also seemed kind of wrong to just throw the information away -- there's the packrat in me showing it's head.

Did you know that Gary Payton and Tim Hardaway were almost teammates at UTEP? Gary REALLY wanted to come to UTEP, but he took too long to accept his schollie so we had to sign some dude out of Louisiana who never amounted to anything.

Coach Haskins has said that letting Payton get away was one of the biggest regrets of his career. Can you imagine Timmy and Gary on the same college squad? Killer...
