I found some good frozen fish sales about a month and a half ago and I bought way too much fish for lent fridays, and it's sitting in my freezer still. I'd like to try to try to find some good dishes to use it in, before i just throw it away. I'm not that big on fish, primarily I've just been breading and frying it up. I made a pretty good crab stuffed fish at one point, also some fish tacos although I'm pretty tired of those. I still have some Whitefish, Talapia and Flounder left. I'll probably put together some sort of fish pasta alfredo this week, but that's only one dish, and I can probably make 3-4 things. Anyone make anything tasty they'd like to share?

Several things you can do with them....

Talapia is awesome grilled....and you can make a teryaki with it as well....

Another thing I have done is encrust the fish with a baja style crust....tortilla chips, pico de gallo, and spices.....

My favorite fish recipe is any fish with a Pecan Meunier sauce over the top of it. The recipe for the sauce is, I think an Emeril recipe and can be found on food tv. It isn't too difficult, you just have to be sure not to burn it or it will break, and not be well unbelievably good.

You can use an herb crust instead of breading... sautee the fish (any of those would be fine, especually the tilapia) in olive oil and instead of breading, use some combination of dried cilantro, rosemary, lemon pepper, or other mild spices you enjoy.

I like to hand it to my wife and tell her to fix it.

You might want to try a salt dome cooking method, it was on Good Eats a while back...
