OT: Anybody ever get a 'free ipod' or know somebody that has?

I preface this with the fact that I am not looking to do this. ;)

I check my myspace page quite often. The 'get a free ipod' banners are not as rampant as they were 9 months ago. Still, for some reason, I was wondering if anybody actually completed the requirements or know somebody who did.

One of my co-workers did last year around this time. He had to get six people to sign up for various things like Netflix, etc. He actually did receive a 20 GB iPod from it.
