- J.C. Romero relieved E. Yan
- D. McPherson at first
- E. Alfonzo at third
- A. Ethier singled to right, J. Kent scored, W. Aybar to third
- R. Martin singled to left, W. Aybar scored, A. Ethier to second
- O. Saenz hit for A. Sele
- O. Saenz singled to right, A. Ethier scored, R. Martin to third
- R. Furcal tripled to deep right, O. Saenz and R. Martin scored
- J. Cruz Jr. struck out swinging
- N. Garciaparra singled to shortstop, R. Furcal scored
- J.D. Drew singled to first, N. Garciaparra to second
- J. Kent singled to right, N. Garciaparra to third, J.D. Drew to second

I think that's 16 batters. I know that's 9 runs, and one booger of a bad day for the Angel bullpen.

The guys from Angles Rants and Raves podcast (http://www.rarn.net/angels.php)did not like it either but its still a lot of fun listening to them.

You're right, J Cruz Jr had a HORRIBLE inning there. How'd you like to have 16 batters in the inning and know you were personally responsible for 2 of the outs, on a strike out and foul-out no less that wouldn't even advance a runner or even put a ball into play?

This is nothing, my softball team regularly scores or gives up 16 runs in ONE inning!
