So I haven't made a thread in a while and after 5 long years, this is the best I can come up with. On a trip to a Bengals game last fall, talking about the subject, a buddy asked me if I had a name for my car, and I quipped, Yea... Doctor Fantastic. So there we go, that's mine.

96 Honda Accord - Doctor Fantastic

Dude, you're totally lying. There was not a '79 Yugo:

You were thinking of your mommy's lime/rust Pinto.

Edit: I am a dirty liar.

I drive a red '92 Ford Probe. It's a five-speed and it has a spoiler (and front-end body damage). It's name is "Squinty Ferrari" because if you squint, it really does look like a Ferrari. In reality the car is a piece of shit, but I mostly date girls that suffer from astigmatism.

I've called my 2002 Neon "Tasker" a few times...but not lately.

Since I was going to be driving it on base every day (where parking spots are an afterthought and considerably small), I knew it was going to get dinged up.

Same here. We have the "green car" and the "black car." We used to have a "red car" but it got traded in for the "black car."

in the same line of thought, we have "mommy's car" and "daddy's car". Count on kids to keep things simple...

My 92 Audi 100's name is Kathy. Named after a friend's mom who is totally hot. So I named my car Kathy because she may be a little old but she's still beautiful!

Every car my mom ever owned, she named "Nellie".

Our two vehicles have been named by our 4 year-old daughter as "Truckie" (Ford Ranger), and "Troopy" (Isuzu Trooper).

I have a 2003 black Mazda Protege5. I call it "Buzz" in part because of how it looks in the spring and summer when the pollen settles on it. :D

my 6'5" roommate used to drive a ford festiva....we called it "go little car" because getting the piece of shit to stay running involved us sitting there saying "come on, go little car" and encouraging it not to stall.

My first car was a '79 Olds Cutlass Supreme. My friends at work named it "The Tuna Boat."

My current car is a '92 Subaru Legacy. It doesn't have a name, though it's approaching 100 in car years. I should probably call it "George Burns" or something. I'm taking it in tomorrow for a new windshield because I've been driving it with a cracked windshield for nearly a year now, and it'll never pass inspection otherwise.
