For stubborn stuff, check out HijackThis (Google it for the website). It'll output a file that will allow folks to help zoom in on just how to remove it.

King, do you have any AV/anti-spyware software on your system currently that failed to slow this down? I looked at the Symantec site and it appears that their definitions for this were updated in the last week of Feb.

hxxp://securityresponse.symantec.com/avcenter/venc/data/spyfalcon.html (http://securityresponse.symantec.com/avcenter/venc/data/spyfalcon.html)

Beyond this, I saw a couple of sites that reported having automatic install files to repair this spyware, but I'm not familiar with the sites and don't want to end up redirecting you to another site that ends up further infecting you with a promised cure. But there were a bunch of links that appeared to address this when I entered a Google search using the terms "spyware falcon"

I got that piece of crap thing on my computer a couple weeks ago, and I needed to do a couple sweeps with Spyware Doctor and McAfee's program to get that sucker killed. :(

Don't forget to reboot in Safe Mode before you run the anti spyware stuff.

Run whatever anyone listed above plus some other free programs:

Adaware
Spybot
AVG
Spysweeper
Spyware Blaster
