what is it for those of us stuck at work? our potential players or our true starters...is mcbride starting or is he starting Ching and EJ to decide which on starts in Germany?

Now replace Reyna with Mastroeni.

What a ball by O'Brien! First he sprays it out wide perfectly for Dolo, then gets it back and plays a spectacular chip for Donovan!

It's called Maroc in French, so I guess that's what they call themselves since its an old French colony.

Well, that's not a great sign.

This doesn't bode well for the home side. We can't beat Morocco 3three weeks before the Cup at HOME!

You could see that goal coming. Why didn't he just play it back?

Not sure, but I have NO clue why Keller wasn't off his line. That ball should have been 30 rows up before the Morocco guy got within 10 yards of it.

Very poor outing by the US. They couldn't maintain possession or put together any kind of passing on the offensive side of the field. One of the worst performances by the team in quite some time, IMO.

And it might be just what we needed...

Was this game on ESPN earlier? I don't remember seeing it listed and now I'm watching a re-run on my local spanish channel. That doesn't seem right.

It was live on ESPN2.

Our family went, sad to see the outcome. Didn't really play well, but could be a nice wake-up call.

Any updates on Reyna?

I was at the game. Very good pro-US crowd. About 26,000 were there.
You could tell the team was a little tired from all of their training in the past week. Plus they were very light in the tackle and never really got stuck in for any balls, which is understandable.

I was not a real fan of playing 3 in the back in the second half. When Dempsey came on for Onyewu, Cherundolo had to drop to the back. I don't think that he is suited for a 3 man back line.

I do think this was just Arena experimenting with lineups as he is prone to do. So I think we've established that a 4-3-3 or a 3-4-3 are not good lineups to use. Or if they will be used, have Lewis at LB (couldn't because he just played in the CCC playoff game and probably was exhausted) and ANYONE but Wolff as a winger.
