Nothing on fark.com yet. Usually that's the first place news like this is confirmed or debunked.

what station? if it was the ticket, maybe it was Jameel White, (former) Browns runningback?

Apparently the radio guys got it from ABC news, but they've now retracted it. False alarm...

Story from six months ago suggesting his death, and yeah, I'm aware of the URL, which makes me think this is more of the same.

Could the radio report have inadvertently snagged it from there? Maybe. Maybe not. I'd be suspicious of the report until major media says something.

Nah, it was ESPN 103.3. And they clearly made the Urkel connection...not that it matters now.

I think jeeber needs a week in the box to think about it. Next time he can think twice before he gets involved in Jaleel White's family matters.

I met Urkel. He lived in the same building I was crashing at when I lived in Santa Monica. He was a bit...chunkier...than when he was Urkel.

He was wearing a Donovan McNabb camp shirt. I walked past him, and he said "What's up, kid?" I was like "...hey."

Meanwhile, my ex-wife was outside bumping into the Rock, who also lived in the building at the time.

You tell me which one had the better experience.

That depends, did the Rock get lucky?

Urkel was quite the basketball player. He could have walked on at UCLA had he wanted to and was often seen playing pickup ball by Pauley

Wow..I was gonna say..

Though, talk about one part making and breaking your career. Geez.

He hasn't done much work at all since Family Matters.

The weird thing about Urkel, now that I remember....

He was featured in Slam magazine quite a bit in the early 90s. He was, as was said earlier, a great basketball player. He was also much more like Stephan Urkel than Steve Urkel. His best friends were Penny Hardaway and Shaq.

He also showcased his skills on an episode of Family Matters.

It's disturbing that I remember this.
