I thought about Winning Eleven but they are very limited as far as international sides and noMLS teams. I also, thought about the FM06 game but just don't like the level with MLS leagues so that leaves with EA FIFA game for my soccer fix. Which is better FIFA 06 or FIFA 2006 Road to FIFA World Cup? I would like to play the world cup but wonder if there is much replay in the "Road to the cup" game. i know with the original FIFA 06 out I can play Irish and Scottish leagues as well as the American MLS league but was wondering about also playing a career and if they had the option to coach a international team? Can anyone recommend one of these or other soccer game, I need a soccer fix soon.

For which system.
I have WE and FIFA 2006 for PSP and I prefer FIFA...
Then again, I've always played the FIFA series, only hav ea few in the WE series (PS2 and now PSP)

the "road to the world cup" games have traditionally been focused on the international game, while the yearly games have a more limited international management side (still probably enough for you casually though, with regional tournies and friendlies).

Dola,
Gamespot rated FIFA06 higher than FIFA World Cup for PSP.
I think either way, they'll be fairly similar, and in the grand scheme, I'd prefer the lack of WC focus, for all year stuff.

It sounds like you're more interested in league availability than gameplay, so I'd go with FIFA 2006. Road to the WC allows you to play starting in the qualifying stages. I too would wonder about the replay value of that game. There is no international management in either WE or FIFA 2006 as part of the career mode.
