Is your video card supported?

Yes it is .I even checked it ....I narrowe d it down to transform and lighting aspects of the VC . It shouldnt even be a bother because mafia requires the same things and works well on my comp .

well, you can make sure your running the latest drivers.
just play around with the video options in the game, or ask on the BF1942 forums

Ouch- that is quite an archaic card. If you can afford it, you really ought to plunk down $150 for a GeForce4 4200. Otherwise, you should stick to older games...

I just picked this game up over the weekend. I haven't had this much fun with an online game since....Counterstrike. Speaking of which, if you don't want to upgrade your video card, Counterstrike will run very well on you TNT2. Give it a try.

The TNT2 was the problem with one of my old game machines. I replaced it with a GeForce4 MX440 for about $78 and BF1942 plays like a champ!

Good luck with it bro!
